Summary

The information to gather before you start, and how the notification step fits into the wider process.

What you will learn

  • What details you will be asked for
  • When the step happens
  • Who the registration is actually with

Prepare before you start

Gather the exact kit model and SKU, the product or inverter serial number, your invoice, the installation address, your MPAN and meter serial number from a bill, the connection date and photographs of the completed installation.

Registration is with the relevant network operator or official route — not with HomeSolarKit. We help you prepare, then point you to the official process.

Keep your own record

Save the reference you receive along with the documentation supplied with the kit. If you later change supplier or sell the property, having it to hand saves a lot of digging.
