Privacy notice

Last reviewed: August 2026. This notice explains what HomeSolarKit.uk collects and why, in plain English.

What we collect

Stock alerts and updates: your email address, and optionally your postcode area, property type, intended space and buying timeframe, plus the page you signed up from and any UTM campaign tags.
Supplier enquiries: company and contact details you provide so we can respond.
Analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregated usage events (such as page views and calculator completions). If you choose essential-only, analytics events are not sent.

To send the stock alerts or updates you asked for, and nothing else without a fresh consent.
To respond to supplier or contact enquiries.
To understand which pages and tools are useful, in aggregate, so we can improve them.

Consent: email sign-ups, supplier enquiry submissions and analytics cookies.
Legitimate interests: keeping the platform secure and producing anonymised, aggregated statistics.

We do not sell personal data. Data is stored with our cloud hosting provider within managed infrastructure.
Sign-up data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Supplier enquiries are kept for up to 24 months.

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time via hello@homesolarkit.uk. You can also withdraw cookie consent using the cookie settings link in the footer.
You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

We use one essential cookie/local-storage entry to remember your cookie choice, and optional analytics storage only if you accept. See the cookie banner or footer link to change your choice.
